We had a chance to plunge into a real winter fairy tale at the opening of the exhibition of old Christmas tree decorations ‘Odesa Christmas Tree: from the XIX century to the present day’.
This exhibition was held at the Odesa Museum of Western and Oriental Art, and according to the museum’s director, Igor Poronik, it was natural, because the museum building used to house a factory for Christmas tree decorations. Elegant glass balls, handmade figurines, bells and even unique historical works of authorship – each of them has its own story. By the way, there was even a crane among the Christmas tree decorations, which was especially nice for us.

A special moment was the charity auction. Both modern and rare jewellery were auctioned off, and all the money raised was donated to our KRAN charity fund. All those present were able not only to get a piece of the New Year’s miracle, but also to join a good cause.
This event reminded us that a real holiday is not only about the lights on the Christmas tree, but also about the warmth we give to each other. We thank the curator and collector Marina Lukyanova (Kyiv) for this wonderful initiative!
We would also like to express our gratitude to everyone who took part in the auction and contributed to help the severely wounded with brain and spinal cord injuries, which are under the care of our foundation.
