Oleksandra Lysytska, a doctor from Kyiv, in February-April 2022 was involved in the evacuation of people from Irpin and temporarily occupied villages of the Kyiv region, and in May she joined the combat medics. Rescued the wounded on the Eastern Front. But in January 2023, an enemy drone hit the stabilization medical center in the Kharkiv region, where Oleksandra’s team worked. She was seriously injured, she could not walk due to unbearable neuropathic pain and immobility of her left leg. She moved temporarily in a wheelchair and worked daily with the doctors of “Nodus” to restore her health and mobility.

Oleksandra’s perseverance, the professionalism of doctors and the charitable contributions of our foundation’s partners brought her back to life.
